| | Everyone's been waiting for it! What are you all doing with those copies of Bejeweled sitting around from the wedding? It's time for the Bejeweled Contest! The rules are as follows:
1) Contest starts today, 12/26. Any high scores that you have accumulated between the wedding (8/30) and today are still valid, as long as the fit the rest of the criteria.
2) This contest is only open to those who attended the wedding and picked up a copy of Bejeweled 2, or grabbed one of the leftover copies from us. The web game does not count. PC or Mac versions are accepted.
3) You must play "Classic Mode". Scores in other modes will not be accepted!
4) The three highest submitted scores will win prizes. One entry per person.
5) Winners will get to choose from various Bejeweled themed prizes, including a copy of Bejeweled Twist (the new one that just came out). There will be three prizes, and the first place winner will get the first pick, followed by the second place, and third place. I will cover shipping costs!
6) Contest ends on 2/10. If you are willing to give the prize to your significant other as a Valentines Day gift, I will ship it so it gets to you in time. It will then be your own responsibility to seek publicity and score press / freebies.
7) Scores are to be posted as comments on this xanga entry, or emailed / sent to me. If you email me, make sure you get some sort of acknowledgment, because if I miss it, it will not count.
8) Top scores may be asked to provide proof. This can come in the form of screenshots or pictures of the screen, sent to me. You can take a picture of the high score screen in on your own copy, so you don't have to worry about taking a picture during your actual game.
9) I will start updating this entry with the top scores starting 1/1.
10) Trash talking within the comments here is encouraged!
