| | So as a result of all that Bejeweled stuff, PopCap sent us on a "second honeymoon" in time for the launch of their new Bejeweled game. The first night we stayed at a trendy modern hotel.
The bathtub was really interesting because the water came out of the hole in the ceiling!
Then we went over to Pike Place to see the market over there. They had some giant lobster tails.
And also some pretty wild flowers.
We also got to see the original Starbucks. It was too packed to go into though.
And somewhere along the way we saw this giant gummy bear made up of little gummy bears. A combiner gummy bear I guess.
We met up with Sally and Steve since they live around there. They showed us around the area =)
At night the lounge of our hotel had this interesting fireplace.
The next morning we got brunch at Salty's, where I had a lot of crab and shrimp. We also didn't check the price of lunch until after we got the bill. It turned out to be much more expensive than we imagined. Thanks PopCap!
Then we rented some bikes and went around the shore of Alki Lake.
Here's a picture of us by the water. It was cold!
We took a monorail over to the Space Needle to check it out.
Then we finally made it to the Bejeweled Twist launch party! Here's Tammy with the program (which had a little blurb about us), and some snacks. The food wasn't bad! They had an official cocktail called "The Vortex" which was really good too! Check out those table decorations - we used the same pink little rocks. Good thing we didn't include every color of the rainbow in ours though...
A mad scientist introduces Bejeweled Twist.
Then rings drop from the sky, and girls start performing acrobatics in them! All to demonstrate how Bejeweled works.
Sally and Steve got to come too!
The trip ended with some sushi at a nearby restaurant. This was some sort of fruity rainbow roll, which was pretty good!
That's it, all the pictures from two honeymoons! Stay tuned, tomorrow I will announce a Bejeweled contest for all those who took the game home from the wedding. With prizes!
